Gout In The Ankle (WARNING -- images may be disturbing)
Just about any joint is susceptible to a painful Gout Attack. The ankle is no exception. Many report a dull ache and stiffness at the beginning stages of the uric acid settling into the ankle. DO NOT ignore these symptoms. It is important to be proactive during the beginning stages of Gout (see here for helpful hints). The ankle is a delicate structure and can prove to be completely debilitating should an attack settle in this area.
